BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Athletic Association has announced a total of $125,000 to be awarded to local non-profit organizations as part of the Fall Edition of the B.A.A Gives Back Grant.

The non-profits are recognized for their work in communities that align with the mission of the B.A.A. to build healthier communities.

Over $750,000 has been awarded to 56 organizations across Massachusetts since the program’s beginning in Spring 2023. Nicole Juri, Director of Development at the B.A.A. said the following in a statement.

“The B.A.A. Gives Back Grant program is delighted to be able to support some incredible organizations with their important community work in this fall edition. We end the year with twelve selected organizations that we believe will use the funds to do great things to support athletes of all ages in getting and staying active.”

Monetary grants from the B.A.A can be awarded to non-profit organizations meeting a certain criterion. Over 10 non-profits were selected as grant recipients, including Bay State Games, Back on My Feet Boston, Run Your City, WellStrong, and Massachusetts Wonderfund.

The next round of applications for the grant program will launch in February 2026.
