BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Celtics have won three straight since the All-Star Break, and they'll try to extend that run tonight at the Garden against the Hornets at 7:30.

Charlotte's rolling with five wins in a row since a four-game skid, but Boston's taken both meetings so far this year--90-87 in mid-November and a 102-91 triumph just after Christmas.

Over the last four games, All-Star Kyrie Irving's been carrying the team. He's averaging 27 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, and shooting 53 percent from the field--56 percent from long-range.

Consistency, Health Key For Celtics In Search For 3rd Straight Win

The Celtics suddenly look a lot like the group that's led the Eastern Conference throughout much of this season.

Fellow All-Star Kemba Walker's paced his group with 25 points a night during the Hornets' winning streak, but one concern: Dwight Howard, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Cody Zeller all left last night's win against the Bulls early with injuries, though Howard returned.

Boston sits a half-game behind Toronto for first in the East.
