The Boston Bruins will take a two-game winning streak into play tomorrow when they host Claude Julien's Montreal Canadiens and, so far, Boston's new acquisitions have fit in great.

The numbers speak for themselves, with all new additions putting up points, early on. Rick Nash is a point-per-game player in three games, with two goals. Tommy Wingels has a goal and an assist in his two contests. Brian Gionta picked up a pair of helpers in his debut last night and Nick Holden earned an assist in his first game in black and gold, as well.

“They’ve fit in seamlessly,” Coach Bruce Cassidy said of his new players.

He also had great things to say about the overall chemistry among the newly-revised lineup.

“You’ve got veteran guys that have been in other locker rooms,” Cassidy said. “I can’t speak to whether they’re good or bad or indifferent locker rooms. I know that ours is terrific, when it comes to our leadership. I think our young guys have really helped it, as well, because they bring a lot of energy. They all bring their own personality, but they’re respectful. They want to learn from these veteran guys. So, you get that mix in there.”

Cassidy said the new guys have found their respective places among the team, nicely. “Since they’ve been there, every one of them has wanted to do their part. So, they’re good people, as well.” By most accounts, it looks like the Bruins have been fortunate to add talent, not ego.

“They’ve been playing good,” said David Krejci, fresh off yesterday’s hat trick. “Nash is a great player, a world-class player, and he’s proved it the last couple of games. He’s taking the puck to the net. He’s scoring big goals for us. Tommy [Wingels], Holden – they’ve been playing good hockey. I know it’s not easy, but they fit in really well. So, hopefully we can keep it going.”

So, it's safe to say that Boston's chemistry is still just fine.
