Celtics Will Try To Get Back On Track Against Struggling Bulls

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- It was a tough loss for Kyrie Irving's Celtics Saturday in Houston.

"I think we did some good things," Irving said. "Obviously a few turnovers, but just those plays, just those long rebounds, just getting them right back, it kept 'em in the game. We did a great job just running their shoes off the lines, making them miss--then we just got to finish out our certain possessions with a quality rebound. That was probably the difference in the game."

That ended the C's four-game winning streak, while the Rockets won their 15th in a row with the 123-120 survival.

Celtics' Jaylen Brown Finds Unique Way To Spend Off Day

Brown will speak at Harvard University tonight as part of a speaker series for its Graduate School of Education.

Boston will visit Chicago tonight at 8 with hopes of getting back on track against a rebuilding Bulls team that's dropped five of six and 13 of 16. Despite the losses, though, they do have some talent: Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, and Lauri Markkanen.

Each team won on its home floor in two December meetings, and both were blowouts. The Bulls took the first meeting by 23, then the C's won by 25.

Boston's offense has been great lately--119 points per game its last six--but have 111 points allowed per the last seven. That's not so good.

The Celts sit two games behind the Raptors for the top spot in the East.
