Accused Gilpin Killer Waives Extradition

PLYMOUTH, MA (24/7 News Source) --  The man accused of killing the teenage sister of State Police head Kerry Gilpin is waiving extradition back to Massachusetts.

Michael Hand was arrested in North Carolina after he was charged with the 1986 killing of Tracy Gilpin. Hand will now be returned to Massachusetts and will be arraigned in Plymouth District Court once he arrives.

Hand used to live in Kingston, which is where the Gilpin family lived at the time of the teen's killing.
