BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- New Red Sox skipper Alex Cora's never managed in the big leagues but, boy, you wouldn't know it with the success his club's had this spring.
Boston's 21-and-9 with wins in 13 of 14 and one last meeting against the Chicago Cubs today to conclude the exhibition season.
On Thursday, Year One for Cora starts for real in Tampa.
David Price Wraps Up Solid Spring
As the Boston Red Sox improved in exhibition play, David Price was sharp in his third and final start of the spring.
"I'm very comfortable where I'm at, I feel great, man," Cora said. "I learned a lot, and the most important thing is, I gotta be myself, I can't change for anybody. The circumstances are going to change, we know where we're at."
Cora finalized his starting rotation to begin the season. Chris Sale, David Price, Rick Porcello, and Hector Velazquez will get the Rays, then Brian Johnson will open the next series in Miami.
Drew Pomeranz has a forearm injury and Eduardo Rodriguez and Steven Wright are dealing with knee issues, so all three will start on the disabled list.
