CANTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Police are investigating human remains found in Canton near the I-95/I-93 interchange.
According to a news release by the Norfolk District Attorney's Office, a person who had stopped to assist a motorist in distress on the road, just south of the Rte. 95/93 interchange, saw human remains a modest distance off the roadway.
State Police are investigating. The heavy police activity in the area has slowed traffic on Rt.128/I-95 SB to Lexington.
Norfolk District Attorney's Office also said that an autopsy is likely to be conducted Thursday.
