BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Through two starts against his former Rays, Red Sox ace David Price has pitched 14 scoreless innings while allowing just 10 base-runners to offset 10 strikeouts.
In fact, dating back to five relief appearances last September and two more in the playoffs, the lefty hasn't allowed a run in his last 29 1/3 innings.
His manager Alex Cora said he's back to being his old self.
"I feel he's in a good place from the get-go," Cora said. "In Ft. Myers, in Tampa when he pitched, and here today, I don't think he needs to prove people wrong. When he's healthy, he's one of the best pitchers in the big leagues, and he's healthy right now."

Through six games, Ramirez has driven in six runs with three extra-base hits.
Sox lead the East at 6-and-1 with four one-run wins.
What does Price make of his club's hot start?
"It's been good," he said. "We've played a lot of close games. Our ability to win a one-run game has been very good right now. We're 2-0 in extra inning games, kind of continue that trend from last year. If you can win one-run games, and if you ever go to extras have the ability to win those as well, that's big."
Sox starters have a 0.83 ERA.
Boston and Tampa again tomorrow, with Rick Porcello set to oppose Jake Faria.
