BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- A baseball game turned into a boxing match Wednesday night at Fenway Park between the Sox and their rival New York Yankees.
The first act of the drama happened in the third inning, when Tyler Austin of the Yankees spiked Brock Holt at second base.

Fast forward to the seventh inning, and Red Sox reliever Joe Kelly hit Austin with a fastball--and then benches cleared and punches were thrown.
After the game, Kelly said the pitch just got away from him.
"I mean, I threw a pitch inside and it hit him, and it's one of those that get away," he said.
