BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Red Sox have the best record in the majors at 17-and-5, but they've lost their last three and scored just four runs along the way after last night's 4-3 loss in 10 innings in Toronto.

Craig Kimbrel hadn't pitched in nearly a week, but went out for a non-save situation and gave up the walk-off shot to Curtis Granderson.

Still, the closer said he felt good.

"That was probably one of the better nights, I felt," he said. "I'm gonna give up some runs. It's unfortunate it was in a tie ball game like it was tonight."

It was actually the first run Kimbrel's allowed all year in his 8 1/3 innings.

Eduardo Rodriguez will try to stop the bleeding tonight at 7:07 p.m. He's won his last two starts and surrendered just three runs over 12 frames.

Unfortunately, the lefty has a 5.67 career ERA against the Blue Jays.

They'll counter with Aaron Sanchez. The righty's 1-and-2 with a 3.86 mark this year and a 3.75 lifetime ERA opposite the Sox.

Sanchez may have to deal with former All-Star Brock Holt. The infielder's caught fire with a .414 average and five RBI during his seven-game hitting-streak.

Boston holds a three-game lead in the East.
