PLYMOUTH, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Tense moments for police in Plymouth after a call to a home Thursday night results in gunfire and a suspect shot by police.
Plymouth Police Chief Michael E. Botieri, tells WBZ-TV gunshots had been fired into a vehicle on Federal Furnace Road and a that a woman ran way looking for help
When officers arrived they were confronted by a male subject shooting at them right away. the officers returned fire... the subject was struck and was Medflighted to Boston Medical Center.
Some officers were taken to local hospitals to be checked out as a pre caution.
