Keys To Bruins Game 4 Win? Physicality, Puck Possession

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Round 2, Game 4 tonight between the Bruins and Lightning at the Garden. B's need a win. They're down 2-1 in the set.

Something that would help--more physicality and better puck possession. In fact, those go hand in hand.

Ask David Backes.

"Physicality is something we're looking for," Backes said. "We gotta make sure none of their guys are comfortable when they have the puck. They can certainly make plays with time and space, but there's a time to be physical, and there's a time to get the puck, hold on to the puck, and be physical by grabbing that thing, owning it, and not letting anyone else take it."

Bruins Must Be Better Disciplined To Beat Lightning

Coach Bruce Cassidy knows his B's will have to be more disciplined after going on the penalty kill nine times during the last two losses, compared to just four power play chances.

Puck drops at 7 p.m. The B's are 31-10-and-5 at home this year.
