LAWRENCE,MA (WBZ-AM) -- An accused thief in the Merrimack valley tries to get rid of the evidence, tossing his bounty away.
The Eagle Tribune says Ricardo Flores of Boston walked into a Market Basket in Lawrence, demanding cash or he'd shoot.
Police say he then threw almost $3300 dollars in cash in the air as he ran to a waiting car.
Police stopped the vehicle a few minutes later in Methuen. Flores was captured after allegedly pulling a knife on officers.
Two others in the car were also arrested.
