BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Police have identified the man shot in a Mattapan home earlier this week.
They say "Garfield Thomas" was shot around 10:40 Tuesday morning in the home on Evelyn street.
He was brought to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
officials say Thomas and the person who shot him allegedly knew each other.
So far, no arrests -- and no word on a motive.
