HYDE PARK (WBZ-AM) -- Boston Police have arrested a man they say stabbed another to death at a barber shop in Hyde Park Tuesday evening.

Rudy Jean-Baptiste, 28 of Roslindale, is charged with murder.

Police said he stabbed a man in his early 40s in the torso several times at the La Familia barber shop on Hyde Park Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

That man was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

Boston Police said the incident may have stemmed from an argument.

"It doesn't appear to be a random act, the parties may have been known to each other," Boston Police Superintendent William Gross said. "At this point, we're looking for any and all witnesses. If anyone saw anything, no matter how small, it could really help our investigation."

Jean-Baptiste will face arraignment in West Roxbury District Court.
