BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Hyde Park. Authorities say a patrol unit caught a man opening fire on a group of people last night on Westminster Street.
When the officers approached the scene, the suspect allegedly turned and pointed his weapon at them. That's when an officer fired his gun, hitting the suspect.
He has been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
