BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Stanley Cup Final shifts back to Las Vegas for Game 5 tonight at 8 p.m., and the Capitals are one win away from their first title in the franchise's 43-year history.

Washington coach Barry Trotz said his group's motivated to win its fourth straight after scoring 16 goals the first four games of the series.

"We're not scared of their building," Trotz said. "We've proved that we're good on the road. We're going to go there and put our best effort in there. We haven't played our best game, which is exciting to me. If we play our best game, then we give ourselves a chance--so, we're going to try to do that."

Bruins Fell Short, But Had Great Year In Spite Of Early Elimination

Adam Kaufman says the young team gained great experience, developed significantly, and is well-built for sustained success in the future.

Caps and Golden Knights split the first two games in Vegas, so Knights center Tomas Tatar said he and his guys will have to lean on the crowd to force a Game 6.

"That's our plan, we have to go game to game right now," Tatar said. "Obviously we're really excited to go back to Vegas. Hopefully fans will support us, and it's going to be a game there, and then we go from there again."

Vegas is 7-and-2 at home in the playoffs, but Washington's 9-3 on the road. The expansion Golden Knights haven't lost four in a row all season, but they're on the brink of elimination and not completing that storybook season. Then again, Capitals have lost five series when up 3-1--the most such losses by a franchise in the history of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
