BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) – The family of a Vermont dancer who had both legs amputated after a tour boat explosion in the Bahamas say this is the beginning of a life long struggle for the family.
Stefani Schaffer of Rutland, VT is in a medically induced coma in critical condition--- her parents were also injured in the accident.
Family friend, Amy Merrill, has started a GoFund Me page for the family to help meet the mounting medical and travel expenses.
