Man Arrested In Connection To Fourth of July Shooting Death

BOSTON (AP) — An arrest has been made in a death investigation in Massachusetts.

Boston police say 32-year-old Michael Carleton, of Boston was arrested Tuesday on an outstanding warrant in connection to a Fourth of July homicide in the neighborhood of Dorchester.

Thirty-six-year-old Deondra Lee suffered multiple gunshot wounds that evening and later died at Boston Medical Center.

Carleton will be arraigned on a murder charge in Roxbury District Court.

An attorney for Carleton has not been immediately identified. Police continue to investigate the circumstances around the shooting and are asking anyone with information to reach out to detectives.
