BOSTON (AP) — A double shooting in a Boston neighborhood has left one person dead.
Police say the shooting happened shortly after 4:20 a.m. Sunday in Mattapan. Two people were found with gunshot wounds, one in his late 20s, and another in his 40s.
The victims were transported to area hospitals, where one man later died. There is no further information on which of the two men was killed. The surviving victim has injuries that are not life-threatening. No suspects are in custody.
Police are investigating the shooting, and ask anyone with information to call Boston Police Homicide Detectives.
