BOSTON, MA (WBZ AM)---Bridgewater police are looking for a motorist who witnessed a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a sedan Thursday morning. The driver of a silver four door sedan (photo above) was around the crash site on Route 18 in Brockton at that time.
The person is being sought as a witness, and is not a suspect in the crash itself.
The motorcycle rider, 71 year old Richard Silva of Brockton, died from injuries sustained in the crash. The operator of the second vehicle, Anthony Hathaway of Whitman, is facing numerous charges and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on August 24.
