TAUNTON, Mass (WBZ-AM) --- An 84-year-old Foxborough man is dead after a wrong-way wreck on I-495 late Wednesday.
Massachusetts State Police say the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. near exit 9.
The man, who died at the scene, was driving the wrong direction in the southbound lanes when he hit two other cars.
Six people were injured. They were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The highway was closed for a period of time but later re-opened.
