HAVERHILL, MA (WBZ-AM) — Authorities have identified the man who was killed at a Haverhill construction site Tuesday.
Carlos Ortiz, 41, of Haverhill was working on the roof of a nine-story building when he fell through an opening -- believed to be an elevator shaft.
Police and OSHA are investigating.
According to the Essex District Attorney's Office, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will do an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
