Report Calls For Tougher Testing Of Stoned Drivers

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- A new report is urging Massachusetts lawmakers to allow for tougher testing of drivers who are suspected of driving high.

The state's special commission was set up months before recreational pot shops opened last fall, and now it has issued a report listing 19 changes legislators should make to help reduce stoned driving.

Those recommendations include training at least 350 drug recognition experts to assist State Police--and to change the language of open container laws to include marijuana products.
