Chargers' Philip Rivers Winless Vs. Patriots QB Tom Brady

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Patriots-Chargers. That's the divisional round match-up in Foxborough Sunday after the Bolts' bested the Ravens, and it's definitely a tale of two teams.

Tom Brady's 7-and-0 opposite Philip Rivers, including playoff wins in 2007 and 2008.

Rivers has beaten the Pats once, but with Matt Cassel at QB in '08.

Los Angeles's signal-caller said this will be special.

"I mean, obviously we gotta work on that defense," Rivers said. "It's a Bill Belichick-led team and defense, we know, they're in these games, who knows how many, Brady's 40th, 38th, something playoff game, so they're used to these kind of games, so it'll be a heck of a challenge. I'm not playing Tom by any means. But is it special to go to New England against a Hall-of-Fame coach and arguably the best quarterback ever to play, and get another shot at him? Heck yeah, heck yeah it is. It is special."

Interesting fact: Chargers are unbeaten in eight games outside of California this year, but the 1:05 Eastern time kick-off will be an early one for them.

Winner of this one will get the Colts-Chiefs winner in the conference championship. That game is Saturday.
