JetBlue's Bear Force One Takes Flight

BOSTON ( WBZ NewsRadio) — There's a new Jet Blue plane themed for the Boston Bruins.

Bear Force One, an Airbus A320 is set to be officially unveiled at 11 a.m. Monday at Boston Logan Airport.

It's not the first time the New York based airline has paid homage to Boston with their sport's themed livery.

In 2012 they introduced the a Red Sox painted plane into their fleet.

Last year, they rolled out "Lucky Blue" for the Boston Celtics. According to the airline, that aircraft was the first NBA livery in celebration of their partnership with the team.

"Bear Force One" is scheduled to fly to Raleigh, North Carolina at 1:00 p.m. Monday ahead of Game 3 in the NHL Eastern Conference finals series.

The Bruins Face-off against the Hurricane's Tuesday night.
