Bruins Eyeing Boston's Third Championship Of The Year

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — They did it. The Bruins are headed to the Stanley Cup Final with the city eyeing another Championship.

Sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes

It all started with the Red Sox in October.

Then continued with the The New England Patriots in February.

Now the Bruins will have their chance.

This will mark 18th Championship appearance for Boston's big four since 2002.

The first time since 2013 the Bruins are moving on to the Stanley Cup Final where they will face either The Shark's or The Blue's.

Coach Bruce Cassidy knows that there's still work to do.

"There's some unfinished business so that's part of the emotion that you want to keep in check. You want to enjoy it but also understand that and I think our guys understand that there that there are sitll four more steps to take," Cassidy said.

David Pasternak tweeted " Not done yet !" with the hashtag "One more to go."

Of course that's one more series — four more games.
