Healey Sues National Retailer Over Vaping

BOSTON (TTWN) — State Attorney General Maura Healey is suing a national retailer over allegations it has been violating state laws regulating tobacco sales.

The suit filed this week in Suffolk Superior Court alleges New Jersey based Eonsmoke LLC failed to verify the ages of online buyers for years.

Healey also claims the company failed to make sure tobacco product shipments were received by someone over the age of 21-years-old.

Healey says vaping is an epidemic with products designed to get kids hooked on nicotine.
