Elizabeth Warren has been telling a story on the campaign trail about how her brief career as a New Jersey public school teacher ended, saying she was told to leave because she was pregnant. This story is at odds with a 2007 taped interview in which Warren tells a completely different story about her choice to leave the job as does a copy of the minutes from a board of education meeting in April 1971 showing a unanimous vote to extend Warren’s teaching contract.
