Did the Punishment Fit The Crime? The man convicted of manslaughter and motor vehicle homicide in the 2016 death of state Trooper Thomas Clardy received his sentence yesterday -five to seven years. Prosecutors say David Njuguna, a medical marijuana patient, was high when he drove at 80 mph into Trooper Clardy’s stopped cruiser on the Massachusetts Turnpike killing the 44-year-old father of seven.Was the sentence enough?
The FISA Game is Afoot....CNN is reporting that a former lawyer for the FBI is facing a criminal investigation for altering a document relating to the Foreign Intelligence Service Act (FISA) Court warrant to surveil Donald Trump campaign aide Carter Page. Homeless and Bused Out of Seattle. Seattle's King County has come up with a novel fix for their burgeoning homeless population. Its not more shelters, or soup kitchens or city support for agencies trying to alleviate the suffering of those people in need of aid. They are giving them bus tickets out of town. The county says it will help re-unify families. Homeless advocates say its trying to make them someone else's problem. What do you think of their solution?
