Sanctuary In Massachusetts. Massachusetts legislators are set to debate whether Massachusetts should become a Sanctuary State. The Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security postponed today's scheduled hearing on a bill that would limit state and local authorities’ cooperation with federal immigration officials seeking to detain or deport illegal immigrants. Former Director of ICE, Thomas Homan Weighs In. The former Acting Director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Thomas Homan, joins Dan to discuss immigration policies, sanctuary cities and states and the policies in England that allowed a "rehabilitated terrorist" out of jail early giving him the opportunity to attack the public last Friday.

The London Terror Attack and Re-offenders. The terrorist who attacked people on London Bridge on Friday had been out of jail for a year after serving part of a sentence for his involvement in a terrorism plot in 2010. His attack raises the issues again of what to do with former terrorists, who is at risk of re-offending and how effective are deradicalization and rehabilitation programs. Was the London attack foreseeable?
