Sen Ed Markey Pops In.... Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey joins Dan in studio while campaigning to keep his seat against two primary challengers. The Senator has a number of recent legislative successes he wants to talk about including a bill to ban robocalls and the authorization of millions of dollars in funding for research into gun violence, Alzheimer's disease and a universal flu vaccine. The MBTA Shuffle. The MBTA Red Line was plagued by delays again today while over at the Orange Line one of the new cars which were taken out of service because they were making a funny noise is now back on the tracks. Since the new cars were deployed last August, they’ve also experienced door issues and a derailment. Massachusetts State Rep. Shawn Dooley (R-Norfolk) has been keeping an eye on the T and joins Dan to discuss what is needed to make public transit in the Bay State operational again.

The War Powers Resolution and Politics. The Democrat-controlled House today is debating a non-binding measure aimed at limiting President Trump's ability to take military action against Iran. Is this playing politics with war and peace?
