Protests Gone Too Far. The homes of several Boston city councilors were vandalized last week in response to their supporting votes to pass the city’s $3.6 billion operating budget. The vandalism consisted of mock report cards which graded them on their action over things like climate, equity, immigration, public safety and public transportation. Grades ranged from “C” to “F,” according to a city official. Boston City Councilor Frank Baker joins Dan to weigh in on the story.

Free Speech Not “Free” at Cornell. A Cornell Law School professor is under fire after a recent blog post regarding Black Lives Matter. William Jacobson detailed the history of the movement and outlined the agenda of the founders which was met with disdain. The Cornell Black Law Students Association called on students to boycott courses by Jacobson and stated he has engaged in “anti-Black rhetoric” by claiming the movement was “Marxist” in nature and wants to “tear down our society.” Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Securities Law Clinic William Jacobson joins Dan to discuss his position. Are our First Amendment rights slowly being taken away?

Polygamy Anyone? The city of Somerville has become one of the first cities in the nation to recognize polyamorous domestic partnerships.The thought process behind the change was that polyamorous relationships are diverse and can look different depending on the family.Sometimes it means having a primary relationship and seeking casual intimacy, and sometimes it means involving a third or fourth (and so on) person in building a family structure. Is this just a legal form of polygamy?
