Traveling Amid Coronavirus. With the Coronavirus still looming around, do you feel safe flying? According to a new study from MIT professor Arnold Barnett, you have a 1 in 4300 chance of contracting COVID-19 on a 2-hour flight. Furthermore, the chances are even lower if the airline leaves the middle seat open, giving you a 1 in 7700 chance of catching the Coronavirus. Airlines have really been going above and beyond to implement a safe and clean environment for travelers with various protocols in place. With all that said, do you still feel safe hopping on a plane, or will you wait till there is a vaccine?
