Nightside with Dan Rea - Rundown for August 24, 2020

Remote Teaching...Sort of... The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Commissioner says the state expects teachers and support staff will report to school buildings and work from the classroom every day regardless of whether their school is limited to online classes. The Massachusetts Teacher's Association alleges the Commissioner is trying to strong arm teachers back into the classroom before it is safe to do so. Whose side are you on?

Voting Early. The polls are open for primary elections across the state of Massachusetts for a week. Now's your chance to avoid a crowded polling place and the uncertainty of vote-by-mail and personally vote with no crowds in your town. Will you take advantage of the opportunity? Dan did and he shares his experience!

Bad Behavior on Both Sides. A Lynnfield family says they are victims of a hate crime after their Black Lives Matter sign keeps disappearing off their front lawn. Then, in Hingham, two 18-year-old men were charged with stealing and defacing a “thin blue line” flag from a home after they posted a video of their caper on social media. Are you tired of the bad behavior on both sides of the political spectrum?
