Disarming Police? Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey wants to disarm police officers and enact a nationwide ban on tear gas, rubber bullets, and bean bag rounds. In a tweet the Senator wrote"Our streets are not meant to be battlefields, and law enforcement shouldn't be using weapons of war against our protesters" Do you agree with Markey or do you think he is taking the trend against law enforcement too far?

Sara Huckabee Sanders Checks In.... Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has a new book entitled Speaking for Myself. Sarah joins Dan to talk about her memoir which recounts such moments as being called out by Michelle Wolf, being asked to leave a restaurant because she worked for President Trump, a wink from Kim Jong-Un and family visits to the White House.

The Post Pandemic Digital World. Stuart N. Brotman, author of Privacy’s Perfect Storm: Digital Policy for Post-Pandemic Times, joins Dan to discuss digital privacy issues specific to the pandemic such as health information and COVID-19 location data tracking. He also addresses the broader range of privacy issues including bio metric data, hacking, the “digital privacy divide,” and user consent.

California Is Burning. Fires have been burning across California, parts of Oregon and Washington over the last couple weeks. There is much speculation as to how these fires have started. Some such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Governor Gavin Newsom claim the fires are due to climate change, where others say arsonists are responsible as there have been at least 4 arrests in connection to the fires. What do you think is the main cause for the wildfires plaguing the West Coast right now? Are there numerous factors that come into play?
