Is the Holocaust Fading? A recent poll shows Millennials and Gen Z have a dearth of knowledge regarding the Holocaust. The U.S. Millennial Holocaust Knowledge and Awareness Survey which encompassed 50 states, shows 63% of those surveyed did not know that 6 million Jews were murdered during World War II. Over half of those polled thought the death toll of the Holocaust was fewer than 2 million people while nearly half of the respondents could not name a single concentration camp.
