“Green Wednesday”. Here in Massachusetts, “Green Wednesday” is almost upon us, which is the cannabis industry’s idea of “Black Friday. It marks the official start of cannabis gift buying for the holiday season. You might be wondering if a good amount of people spend money on cannabis for themselves or others as a gift and the answer is yes. In 2020 so far, there has been $539 million in gross sales despite closures during the pandemic. Are you someone you will be participating in “Green Wednesday” or do you take aim with the idea that marijuana has become so normalized?
Under the Magnifying Glass. Social Media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google have had the spotlight turned on them over censorship and election security concerns. Big tech giants Jack Dorsey of Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook appeared in front of Congress today where they had to answer questions regarding why their companies have previously censored conservative voices as well as information regarding voter fraud. Dorsey did acknowledge that Twitter’s censorship of the NY Post article regarding Joe and Hunter Biden’s business dealings, was a mistake. Is a little too late though?
