Slipping Through The Cracks. A 23-year-old MS-13 gang member residing in East Boston has been sentenced to life for the killing of two teenage boys. Henri “Perverso” Salvador entered the U.S. illegally in 2014, was arrested three times between 2015 and 2016 for weapons charges, and then went on to kill someone in 2016. ICE picked him up in 2017 seeking to deport him but he was ultimately released based on his fraudulent statements. Then Perverso went on to kill another person in 2018. How did this gang member slip through the cracks?
Pain at the Pump. America has been seeing gasoline prices skyrocket over the last couple weeks. Currently the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.52. Since last week New Hampshire saw a 7 cents increase in gasoline and Rhode Island saw a 6 cents increase! Some energy experts are saying that gasoline could reach as high as $7 a gallon if Russia/Ukraine tensions escalate. What types of prices are you seeing at the pump?
Faking It. A Georgia state official is being accused of faking multiple pregnancies and using one of them to get paid time off from work. A fellow co-worker of the 43-year-old woman told investigators that they saw the lower portion of the woman’s stomach “come away” from her body and believed she had been wearing a fake pregnant stomach.
