A Man with a Vision for Education. Omari Walker, a former Boston College football star, is the Executive Director of the New Heights Charter School of Brockton, where graduates earn credits toward their college degree while attending. Omari lost his vision to a genetic disorder after his football career, but his vision for education has never been clearer. Omari joins Dan to talk about this first “wall-to-wall” early college public charter school in Massachusetts.

Americans Sour on Public Schools. A new national poll concludes that Americans believe “…Public Schools are on the Wrong Track”. Professor Peter Hanson, Grinnell College National Poll Director, joins Dan to explain the results of this poll that may have political implications in this Fall’s Midterm Congressional Elections.

President Biden in Brussels. Today President Biden announced more aid to Ukraine and the acceptance of upwards of 100,000 refugees from that war-scarred country. Has America done enough to help Ukraine and that nation’s citizens, or is there more to do?
