Full Steam Ahead. It’s full steam ahead for Massachusetts Republicans as they try to acquire enough signatures to put their call to repeal a law that allows undocumented residents to apply for driver’s licenses, on the ballot this November. Earlier this week the repeal petition got the legal green light from AG Maura Healey that it can proceed ahead. The committee has to deliver 40,120 certified signatures to the secretary of state’s office by Sept. 7th. Maureen Maloney, a member of the GOP state committee who’s leading the recall effort joins Dan to discuss.

Remain in Mexico No Longer. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Biden Administration in their efforts to end a hardline immigration policy referred to as “Remain in Mexico”. The justices ruled 5-4 to overturn a federal appeals court decision requiring Biden to restart Trump's "remain in Mexico" policy after the Republican led states of Texas and Missouri sued to maintain the program. What’s your reaction to the Court’s latest decision?

Changing The Senate Filibuster Rules. President Biden has voiced his support for suspending the Senate filibuster rule to codify abortion rights established in the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling. While overseas in Spain, Biden said, “I believe we have to codify Roe v. Wade into law. And the way to do that is to make sure Congress votes to do that. If the filibuster gets in the way, it’s like voting rights, we provide an exception for this. We require an exception of the filibuster for this action.” Do you echo President Biden’s support? Why or why not?
