Weekend of Chaos. Over the 4th of July weekend, the country saw numerous shootings take place. Here in Boston the night heading into July 4th, there were at least 11 people hurt from separate shootings. In Highland Park, Illinois a gunman shot at a crowd of people gathering for a 4th of July parade that resulted in 6 deaths and two dozen injuries. Then, in Philadelphia another shooting occurred during a fireworks show where two police officers were shot. There continues to be a trend of mass shootings at the hands of young males. What is driving this rise?

Pride in America. Have you lost your pride in America? A New Gallup poll reveals national pride is at a historic low. It has not been an easy couple of years for Americans. There have been a number of contentious issues. We’ve endured a pandemic, a heated election season, the January 6th attack on Capitol Hill, continued mass shootings across America, and more recently some big Supreme Court decisions. Jordan wants to know if you’ve lost your pride in America. Why or why not?
