Cocktails To Go in MA: Should They Stay or Should They Go? The debate is on at the MA State House over whether cocktails to go, a measure originally meant to be a temporary measure during the pandemic, should be extended for another year. The MA Restaurant Assoc. is in favor of the measure as they believe it can be helpful in raising revenue for a number of restaurants. The MA Package Store Assoc. disagrees, believing the measure is “ripe for abuse by underage drinking”. Boston Globe business reporter Jon Chesto joins Dan to discuss.

Less High School Grads Are Going to College… According to data from the National Student Clearinghouse, nationwide undergraduate college enrollment dropped 8% from 2019 to 2022. This slide is the steepest on record. During this period MA has seen an 11% decrease in college enrollment from their high schoolers and NH has seen a 13% decrease. Does this concern you? Why or why not?

It’s Our “Problem”? Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador made a statement regarding the ongoing fentanyl crisis saying Mexico does not produce or consume fentanyl. López Obrador went on to say, “Why don't they (the United States) take care of their problem of social decay?” Dan discusses the enormous evidence that contradicts President Lopez Obrador’s statement and hears your thoughts.
