Retail Shrink. Last week, Dick's Sporting Goods blamed its reduced second quarter profits essentially on shoplifting. Target is another retailer stating it's bracing to lose half a billion dollars this year because of rising theft. Jon Hurst, President of the Retailers Association of Massachusetts, joins Dan to discuss the rise in retail crime.
Should 14th Amendment Disqualify Trump? A lawsuit filed by Republican candidate John Anthony Castro argues former President Donald Trump is constitutionally ineligible for the 2024 ballot in New Hampshire. The lawsuit claims Trump violated the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which bars anyone who engaged in or provided aid or comfort to an insurrection from holding office. Dan discusses the viability of the lawsuit.
