Bike Lane on Boylston Street. Construction will begin on a new bike lane in Boston that will close off a lane of car traffic on Boylston Street. The mayor’s office says the project, “will improve pedestrian safety, update curb regulations, and reduce conflicts.” However, Back Bay residents and business owners are not exactly sold on the project citing concerns over losing roughly 90 parking spaces and shortened crossing times for pedestrians at certain intersections. Forged By Lightning. Douglas Greenlaw has lived a fascinating, transformational life filled with stories worth sharing. Greenlaw was struck by lightning at the age of 13. He served in the Vietnam War where he died on the battlefield and was later resurrected in a helicopter in route to a MASH unit. Then went on to work in the media industry for 30 years meeting and befriending celebrities along the way as he climbed his way up to the CEO ranks. Greenlaw joins Dan to discuss tales from his new book, “Forged By Lightning: From Boyhood to the Battlefield to the Boardroom.”
