A New Pope from the U.S. is Chosen! On day two of the papal conclave where cardinals from around the world gather to vote on and select a new leader of the Catholic Church, the world saw white smoke emerge, signaling they have chosen the church’s new leader. For the first time in history a U.S. pontiff has been elected! American Cardinal Robert Prevost, now choosing the name Pope Leo XIV originally hails from Chicago. Pope Leo XIV is considered a centrist but, on many issues, seen as more of a progressive, however he opposes ordaining women as deacons, so he’s considered more conservative on church doctrine. We discuss the new leader of the Catholic Church and what we can expect from him in the future!
Biden Speaks Out on The View. Thursday President Biden and former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden joined the ladies on The View. The former President was asked about reports questioning his cognitive ability while in office, the 2024 election, former Vice President Kamala Harris’ future, and President Trump’s first 100 days in Office, to which Biden said, “He's had the worst 100 days any president's ever had.” We discuss the former president’s interview and get your response.
