WELLESLEY, MASS. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Babson College in Wellesley was named among the best colleges in the country.
According to a new Wall Street Journal and College Pulse ranking, Babson College in Wellesley is ranked number 2 for being the best college in the country that sets their graduates up for financial success.
"This milestone is not a finish line, but a launchpad," a spokesperson with the college told WBZ NewsRadio, adding that this is the second year in a row Babson remained on top of the list.
“I feel like it’s a bit crazy that it can happen at such a small school compared to those big schools, Ivy League schools,” Mani, an exchange student from Denmark, told WBZ NewsRadio.
Dillon, a business administration major, shared the same sentiment but wasn’t surprised at the news given the resources he said the school provides to its students.
“I’m always super grateful for the fact that I got accepted into this school and that I’m around other people who want to see like my future entrepreneurial success,” he continued.
Topping the list is Stanford University in California.
Harvard College was ranked number five and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was ranked number 11.
