BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — David Mugar, a well-known Boston philanthropist and businessman, has died at the age of 82. Mugar's family said he died peacefully on Tuesday night.
Mugar was the son of Star Market founder Stephen P. Mugar, and was perhaps best known for creating the July 4 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.
