BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Patriots are good at winning, and basketball Hall of Famer and current TNT hoops analyst Charles Barkley is not a great gambler.

Barkley discussed his latest mistake this week on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"What's the dumbest bet you ever made?" Kimmel asked Barkley.

"That would be last Sunday, betting against Bill Belichick," he said. "That was just stupid."

Barkley admitted you can't bet against Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. But, more than that, you can't look Brady in the eyes! Barkley learned that when Belichick invited him out to a Pats practice ahead of the Super Bowl.

"Tom Brady's like, right here, and I look him in the eyes, and I said, 'Damn, you a pretty man!'" Barkley said. "That's what I was thinking to myself, and I got so embarrassed, I started turning my head to talk to him. I was like, Tom, it's good to see ya, man, I haven't seen you in a while."

Here's Another Example Of Tom Brady's Legendary Competitiveness

Tales of the Patriots QB's competitiveness are never-ending.

What guy doesn't have a man-crush on Tom Brady at this point? Barkley's only human.

"I see why he scored all those touchdowns," Barkley said. "The defense are lookin' at his eyes and get mesmerized!"
