BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Bruins and Blues are even at two, with Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final tomorrow at the Garden.

Many basketball fans expected the Celtics to be competing for a championship, too, but they underachieved. And, now, their All-NBA star Kyrie Irving's reportedly considering joining the Lakers, Knicks, or Nets if he doesn't re-sign in Boston as a free agent June 30th.

A few weeks ago, ESPN's Brian Windhorst said Irving may reunite with LeBron James in Los Angeles, but colleague Stephen A. Smith said something different.

"I got a text message from folks close to Kyrie's family—quote, 'There is no way in hell he is going to LA.' I don't give a damn what anybody says. From everything I've been hearing over the last few days, Kyrie Irving's headed to New York City," he said.

To the Knicks.

Then, yesterday:

"I have learned that Kyrie Irving has given every indication to the Brooklyn Nets that that is where he wants to go, not the New York Knicks," Smith said.

We don't know, and Irving may not either. It's "speculation season."
